The difference between The Standard Clean and The Deep Deep Clean lies in the level of thoroughness and detail.

The Standard Clean addresses surface-level cleaning tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming and mopping, and wiping down visible surfaces. This is the right clean for a home that is regularly cleaned and has an average level of uncleanliness. If your home has an above average amount of dust, dirt, grime or it has been a while since a professional cleaning, you will need The Deep Deep Clean.

The Deep Deep Clean is a fully comprehensive corner to corner cleansing of your home. It’s a deeper scrubbing, sanitizing, removal of grease, dirt, grime. It gets the hidden areas where dust and allergens build up, behind and under furniture, ceiling fans, spider webs in the corners. This is good for anyone who hasn’t had a cleaning in 3 months or generally has lots of dirt and dust accumlate.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE PATIO/BALCONY CLEANING?

By selecting the Patio/Balcony option in the Extras page, your NeatO cleaners will do a general cleaning of your outdoor space. This includes vacuuming your outdoor area, dusting chairs and tables, and wiping railings.

Note*** This is not a deep clean of your patio or balcony. There is no mopping of outdoor spaces and windows are not included in this selection.

***Please know that NeatO cleaners will not handle pet waste or fluids. Thank you in advance for taking care of these matters before your cleaners arrive.

DO I HAVE TO BE HOME WHILE YOU CLEAN?

You do not have to be home for your cleaning as long as your cleaner has proper directions for entering and exiting your home. Please input these instructions when booking your appointment. Your home will be locked when the cleaner leaves.

WHAT IF I'M NOT THERE TO LET THE CLEANING PERSON IN?

That’s okay! Just leave us detailed entry instructions when you schedule your appointment online so we know how to gain access to your home. Your home will be locked when the cleaner leaves.

Not to worry! We are happy to communicate any messages or concerns you have to our cleaners. Just shoot us a text or call us and we will relay the message. We understand that there may be a language barrier sometimes, but we are always happy to facilitate communication.

HOW DO I SCHEDULE A CLEANING?

The simplest way to book a NeatO cleaning is to click on “Book A Cleaning” at the top of this webpage. This will take you step by step through the process where you will choose the size of your home, the level of cleaning, and the date and time which you would like your visit. You are able to add notes and details for specifics that you would like us to know. Finish with easy, safe online payment and we’ll send you a confirmation email within 24 hours.

CLEANING SERVICE PREPARATION
Please add in the booking notes all necessary instructions for keys, alarms, door codes and pets before the day the cleaners come to your home. If you have any special requests you have that may be particular to your home, please type these in the notes section of your booking as well. 

A note about Clutter: Please pick up clutter. The cleaners are there to clean your home. If there is clutter on floors, desks, and counters, our cleaners can’t reach all the places to ensure a proper cleaning. NeatO does reserve the right to refuse service if clutter is beyond our cleaners capabilities. If there is substantial clutter and your cleaner has to work through it, please know we may charge a $60 Clutter Charge

PETS & ANIMALS

We love animals, but they don’t always love us. If you think your pet may become overly anxious while we are there, please make temporary arrangements while we are in your home (i.e. travel crate or kennel). You can leave detailed pet instructions in the booking process. Unfortunately, NeatO is not responsible for them.

Pet waste and fluids will not be handled by NeatO cleaners. Please tend to these matters before your cleaners arrive.

What if i'm not happy with my cleaning?

We hope that’s never the case! But we do want to know if you are not happy with your service. Please reach out to us within 24 hours of your cleaning at connect@neatocleaning.com with your name, address, contact information, date of service performed, and a detailed description of your complaint.

service payments

All services can be paid in advance when you schedule your cleaning using our online booking system. We accept all major credit cards. We do not take cash or personal checks. Our online payments are processed by Stripe and through a fully secure 256 bit SSL protocol. In addition, we have a full extended validation SSL security as well. Booking through NeatO’s website is safe and secure, and we guarantee this.

Refunds

All refunds will be issued less a 3.5% transaction fee, which will be deducted from the refunded amount. This fee is necessary to cover the costs associated with processing the original transaction and will be charged in accordance with our payment terms and conditions.

lock outs

A 50% of your total service will be assessed in the event that our teams arrive and are unable to access the home. We have to do this to compensate our team for the time they blocked out for cleaning your home, which prevents them from accepting other work. Thank you for your understanding.

LATE CANCELLATIONS OR/AND RESCHEDULES
You can cancel or pause your service anytime, there is no contract to use our service.
Because we reserve a time especially for you, please make any schedule changes 48 hrs before of your coming service time to avoid incurring a 50% of the total service amount. We appreciate your understanding.
We charge this fee as a means to compensate our cleaning staff for the last minute cancellation.
Rescheduling an appointment within 48 hours also constitutes a cancellation.

 

Why do we have this policy?
This policy reimburses cleaning team members for blocking off their schedule for you. When you book with us, they cannot accept other work during that time.
There are no penalties or fees for canceling your service outside of the 48-hour window.
LATE PAYMENT & FEES

After 7 days of non-payment, a late fee of $3 per day will be applied to the outstanding amount until it reaches double the original rate or is settled.

Legal Action: If payment is not made within a reasonable timeframe, we reserve the right to initiate legal action to secure the outstanding payment.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to these terms, allowing us to continue providing exceptional service.

RETURNED CREDIT CARD FEE

A $25.00 fee will be assessed for all cancelled and declined payments.

SCHEDULE AND BOOKING CHANGES

All schedule changes are handled directly with NeatO by calling or texting us at (323) 240-7053.

EXCESSIVELY DIRTY POLICY/Animal waste

If the residence is beyond a reasonable level of uncleanliness and poses a hazard to the health or safety of our cleaners, we will cancel the cleaning immediately and refund 50% of the cost. Under NO circumstances will our cleaners handle human or animal waste or bodily fluids. 

CLUTTER

NeatO doesn’t offer any kind of Clutter Clean up, we reserve the right to reject any job that we consider Clutter Clean up or beyond the scope of home cleaning.

IS TIP INCLUDED?

Tipping is always appreciated by the cleaners but not required.  100% of tips paid through the booking system, or otherwise, will go directly to the cleaner.  It is not included in the cost of your NeatO cleaning. NeatO personnel are not permitted to solicit tips under any circumstances.

ARE YOU INSURED AND BONDED?
Yes, NeatO Cleaning is insured and bonded. We understand that it is a privilege to be in your home, and we are always careful. In the unlikely event that an object is damaged, please notify us within 48 hours.
Your trust is one of our highest priorities, and we apologize for any incidents. Contact us and submit the details of the issue so that we may remedy the situation as soon as possible. Please be sure to include a detailed description of what happened.
We’ll review the information you provide and get back to you shortly. At that time we may request that you submit a formal claim request, including photographs and proof of ownership. Please note, we request that any damaged or missing item claimed be reported within 48 hours of the service’s completion.
DO NEATO CLEANERS BRING ALL NECESSARY CLEANING SUPPLIES TO GET THE JOB DONE?

We arrive with all required products to give your home a great clean, vacuums, mop, bucket or step stool. If you’d like us to use a specific product, please let us know and leave it out for the cleaner to use. We ask that you provide your own vacuum if you have one, otherwise we are happy to supply ours.

WHAT IF I DON'T HAVE A MOP OR VACUUM?

It’s okay! Our cleaners bring all supplies to clean your house.

DO YOU OFFER GREEN CLEANING SUPPLIES?

At the moment, we do not offer green cleaning supplies, but if you have eco-friendly supplies of your own that you would prefer we use, just leave them out for us and let us know and we will be happy to use those instead.
